Local Outreach:

Harvest Party:  Events such as the fall Harvest Party for families provides an opportunity for community outreach and reflects the concern we have for reaching others for Christ in an enjoyable setting.  It is a time for the church family to combine their gifts and efforts to serve our community.  The EBC Youth Ministry handles this outreach and many of the youth run the game stations and participate in organizing the event.  At the end of the evening, the way to salvation is clearly and simply presented.

Live Nativity:  Christmas time is when we reflect on the most important gift that could ever be given to us, our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.  We want the world to know about this amazing gift and so every year around Christmas the Youth Ministry organizes a live nativity at a public location.  The church encourages everyone to help with set up, providing cookies and refreshments or caroling.  Many people in the community attend to see this live portrayal of Christ’s birth.  The event is an opportunity to remind everyone what our focus should be at Christmas and invites them to accept Christ today!
